Photovoltaic Systems
 We offer grid-tied and off-grid systems, custom tailored to your specific needs. We assess energy consumption, review appliance and lighting efficiency, design a high-performance system and integrate it into your home or business in the most aesthetic manner possible. We offer you two ways to determine what size PV system is right for you.
If you are somewhat technical or experienced with home improvement projects, please take a look at our section Sizing a PV System. This section will walk you through a number of steps leading to a "calculator" which will compute the size of system you need for your needs.
We have a section Let us Design Your PV System where you enter information on your electrical usage, details about your roof (or other mounting location), and electricity bill reduction strategy. Based on this information, we will perform a very accurate calculation and provide you with a detailed system specification including energy production, electricity bill savings, rebate and tax benefits, payback period and pricing. What could be easier!
Solar Thermal Systems
 We currently offer solar thermal systems for swimming pools, spas or for pre-heating domestic hot water. The systems for pools and spas are based on polymer technology and operate at low-temperatures (<105 F) and pressures (<5 psi). These systems are very economical and can pay for themselves in as little as 2 years. The systems for domestic hot water are copper based and include plastic or glass glazing and insulation material. The systems are generally operated by a controller and one or more sensors. Because these systems are more complex and use advanced technology materials, they are more expensive. Nonetheless, the payback period is 3-5 years in most cases.

High-efficiency Electrical Appliances and Lighting
 We offer consulting in the area of high-efficiency appliances and lighting. We keep abreast of the latest and most efficient major electrical appliances, such as air-conditioners, refrigerator/freezers, and compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs).
Use of CFLs alone can reduce lighting costs by 70-80%, and these units pay for themselves in as little as 1-2 years.

Energy Audits and Energy Conservation Consulting
 We provide consulting to clients in the area electrical appliances and lighting, pools/spas and conservation strategies. We can also provide insight into the merits of electrical billing strategies such as Time of Use. By using compact and inexpensive electrical load monitors, we can measure the electricity consumption of all major appliances in your home. We can review your usage of lighting and recommend replacement with CFLs and other high efficiency lighting systems (such as GaN light emitting diodes).
